
A native of Taiwan, Chia-Li Ho received a Master’s of Music in Violin Performance from The Boston Conservatory where she also studied string pedagogy with Rictor Noren. After received her master's degree, she studied privately with Ronan Lefkowitz who is a renown violinist from The Boston Symphony Orchestra. A year later, she won the Associate Concertmaster position with the Boise Philharmonic in the fall of 2013. Besides having a career as a professional orchestra musician, Chia-Li was a founding instructor of the successful orchestra program at Josiah Quincy School in Boston, Massachusetts 2011. She has years of experience instructing private and group classes and believes in the special gifts and potential of every child. Chia-Li wants to create a nurturing environment for children to grow musically and socially. As an orchestral musician, Chia-Li has led string sectionals and orchestras as a principal in Asia, Germany, and the U.S and has been co-concertmaster of the Boston Civic Symphony, assistant concertmaster in Round Top Festival, assistant principal second violin in National Repertoire Orchestra and in Summer 2014, she is joining one of the most well regarded professional opera orchestra- the Des Moines Metro Opera Orchestra in Des Moines, Iowa. She also won a substitute position with the Utah Symphony, has been playing with them since Summer 2018. With her new position with the Boise philharmonic, she is excited to be a part of the wonderful music community here and remains a studio with highly motivated students.
